She was called "Ain't Jo" by some, she will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her daughter, Ronatta (Pepper) Russell of Monett one grand puppy, Kiki one sister, Hazel and brother in law James Coker of Aurora many nieces and nephews as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Mary Mahurin four brothers, Carl Mahurin, Bill (Bus) Mahurin, Charlie Mahurin and Ronald Mahurin three sisters, Cynthia (Sis) Sharp, Eula (Mathews) Brewer and Marie Head. She had a big heart and touched many people with her kindness and encouraging words. Her chicken and homemade egg noodles and banana bread were highly requested. Joyce loved gardening, fishing, baking and singing at family gatherings and at church. She was born February 26, 1946, at home in Butterfield, Missouri, the daughter of Woodrow and Mary (Anderson) Mahurin. Joyce Kay Myers, age 77 of Monett, Missouri, went to be with her father on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at her home. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 PM Tuesday, October 3rd in Cornerstone Church of God in Marionville, Missouri. Burial will follow at Log Church Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Truman was a truck driver and also a member of the Million Mile Club. He loved his family, playing with the kids and going camping. She loved her Lord, she loved her family and she loved her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mabel Hellwig one brother, Ron Hellwig and one grand daughter. Survivors include her husband, Tom of 37 years three sons, James Barsotti of Verona, Mike (Holly) Knight of Goose Creek, South Carolina and Max White of Springfield, Missouri two daughters, Chris (Matt) Losack of Verona and Tammy (Gary) McCoy of Miller one sister, Carol (Bob) Green of Fort Myers, Florida 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was born in Des Plaines, Illinois, the daughter of Albert and Mabel "Tackmann" Hellwig. Marilyn "Mary" Knight, age 84 of Verona, Missouri passed away Sunday, Octoat her home.
